An agent posted about carrying gun and I shared my story w them. Its literally been years (almost 15 to be exact) and FINALLY within the last couple years able to talk about this. I want to share my experience in hopes to bring awareness to others. I was in my early twenties and called to come list a property. (Nothing unusual for our profession). From the time I got there it just didnt feel right. The longer I was there the more uneasy I became. I literally was shaking inside and couldnt figure out why. As he was talking, I was trying to talk to myself telling myself to calm down!!! I finally hid the phone behind my paperwork and would call the office, wait long enough I knew it would be ringing and hang up. I did it 3 times and the office called me back. I answered and kept them on the phone while saying yes I do have that file in the car. I told him hang on just a second let me get this for her and Ill be right back. I got outside jumped in my car and left. Weeks later helicopters were swarming from every news station around. 3 dead women were found on that property... That he never owned!!! ( obviously not there to list). Be careful and always always listen to your instincts. I carry a gun at all times showing houses and ALWAYS listen to my gut. And yes- the guy is in prison for the rest of his life no chance of parole.
