Behold, its the Wiwa moment! Do l imagine a crowd chanting Wiwa, Wiwa, Wiwa, Wiwa.....as a huge Job Sikhala takes to the podium with a suspicious grin and to let his booming voice send the crowd into delirium. I wish l could be there, because Job can dish a cocktail - from boldness, to hilarious and even an application for the crews from Law and Order to resume their errands to his home. Or, do we have a new and different Wiwa back on the big stage? Meanwhile, behind the podium, in the big tent of VIPs would be an ambivalence of feelings and thoughts. Some would obviously be excited and thrilled at the picture of growing to another level of strength. Others will be unsure of whether to smile or frown because of what the new development would do to their power schemes and ambitions. Unavoidably, a few will have their minds wander and spare a thought for one Elton Mangoma, and even Tendai Biti, wherever they would be at the Wiwa moment. Oh yes, this is politics and this is the rumbling MDC saga! Away from letters, long winding papers and outbursts for now and its the Wiwa moment.
