Club Brooklyn is the part of the tape where you can feel free to dance. Kind of. You see this is the kind of club song you might have heard playing in the tunnel after a half hour wu tang mix Joey opens up the song by giving you the birds eye view of an inner city kid struggling for acceptance. Too Spanish for the black kids and too black for the Spanish while in the same breath screaming were all the same in the eyes of the law. With a racial undertone and a hint of police brutality the notion of this being a typical club song goes out the Window around the time the cops shot first. The seemingly method man inspired chorus encourages you to dance as if you werent already emotionally drained by the opening verse but please feel free. In the second verse legzz paints the portrait of a stereotypical house party where the girls boys and bangers come to play. He talks as a shy boy surrounded by pretty woman drug use and almost certain danger. It seems all too normal and redundant for him even as the party ends in violence. Then again its time to dance
