Correct me if you can (My anger with the Nigerian state) 1) I strongly believe Nigeria is not a Nation! You may ask why, well – How can people watch a woman been robbed and shot in her hands while in traffic (in her car) and yet no one helped for over 20 minutes…This happen most times in Lagos yet we were told that Nigeria had lunch a satellite --is it only for NTA shows?. 2) Have you ever been to the so called ‘Murtala Muhammed Intl. Airport in Lagos’ in recent time? If yes please what is your assessment. If no, then you need to pay a visit. I was so ashamed to be a Nigerian as the road condition there is nothing to write home about. The kind of port-holds there is worst than the once in Medina Estate (where I live in Lagos), My car kept clapping ‘kwaa kwaa’ both way in/out of the parking lodge. Some of the street lights were not functioning. Passengers stranded without due reason or apology by the Airline carriers. The Security men at the entrance of the departure section were not exempted as they collect money to allow friends and family member accompany their love ones “in”. 3) Have you ever advocated for increase in salary for our police officers? Please you need to as the condition we saw at the police corporative office in Lagos was shocking. How can they give us a very large archive of registers to search through as if we were in the library simply because we needed to locate the investment of a retired officer. I stood watching how police retiree suffer to get their entitlements…please invest in your future to avoid this embarrassment. How can Police officers stop collecting bribe when their future is not guaranteed. How can they actively run after men of the under-world when nothing holds for them. How can Commissioner(s) of Police stop stealing when their records are not well kept in this 21st century. 4) I drove past a public secondary school today @ Ifako-Gbagada area of lagos and I saw students using their hands to clear dirt under the supervision of their teachers…later we go say ‘Maintain healthy living’…. I wonder what the integrated science teacher is doing. Our girls are suppose to be clean at all times but the school have turn them the other way. 5) Now, have you ever falling in love but the one you love do not mind you? If Yes…how did you over come it? If No…Good luck. It was one faithful day as I walk passed a location close to my area I saw a beautiful damsel ‘her name—Damilola’. Dami is an undergraduate student of Medicine at the university of Lagos. She is very clean in looks and eloquent in speech, very pretty and smart at a glimpse. ……the remaining story…..Soonest
