DLC Media, Inc is mourning the loss of its General Manager Brad Deetz. Deetz was involved in a motorcycle crash in Daviess County on Business 50 west late Wednesday morning. He was injured in the crash with a pickup and was flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. We are told that sometime during the ordeal Deetz suffered a heart attack and passed away shortly after arriving at Methodist. Deetz was the morning show host Max 96.7 WFML and had been a prominent figure in the local radio industry since the 1980s. Deetz was also General Manager of DLC Media who manages and operates MAX 96.7 WFML owned by VU...... and owns and operates WAMW FM & AM Radio in Washington and WAXI in Rockville. Arrangements are pending. Deetz is survived locally by his wife Kristi Deetz who is head of external relations at Vincennes University and by his children 16 year old Ken and 13 year old Elizabeth.
