Daily Announcements 9/23/14 Strength Training begins today. We will meet in the 5-6 auxiliary Gym after school for one hour. Strength Training is open to all 6th, 7th & 8th grade students. If you have any questions see Mr. McAvoy in room C101. If you signed up for the Anime Club make sure you mark your calendar. Our first meeting will be held this Thursday, the 25th after school from 3-4pm in the 5/6 media. Make sure your transportation is here by 4 o’ clock. There are no late buses. Environmental club will meet during lunch for all grades this week on Wednesday AND Thursday. There will be no meeting on Tuesday. To All Students interested in Student Council: There was a meeting Sept 17th . You need to get your application in by Sept 30. There are drop boxes located in the 7/8 office and outside A203 Ms. Nichols room. Please make sure you drop in in the correct grade level box. TO ALL STUDENTS WHO SIGNED UP FOR THE NEWSPAPER – WE WILL MEET IN THE COMPUTER ROOM A128 NEXT TUESDAY SEPT. 30TH AFTER SCHOOL. THERE WILL BE NO LATE BUSSES SO YOU MUST BE PICKED UP AT 4;00 PROMPTLY. TO ALL 7TH GRADE STUDENTS WHO SIGNED UP FOR THE 7/8 ART CLUB – WE WILL MEET IN ART ROOM A130 NEXT THURSDAY OCT. 2ND AFTER SCHOOL. TO ALL 8TH GRADE STUDENTS WHO SIGNED UP FOR THE 7/8 ART CLUB – WE WILL MEET THE THURSDAY AFTER THAT - OCT. 9TH On September 29th, 30th and October 1st, our school photographer will be here to take individual student pictures. All students wishing to purchase a package must present his or her payment envelope to the photographer on picture day otherwise pictures will be taken for school records only. Attention volleyball fans, Intramural volleyball will be starting on Monday, September 29. Get your permission slips in the gym or health classroom and return them to Coach Sheppard. A reminder to all current students in NJHS anyone interested in running for an office needs to submit a speech to Mrs. Morris by 09/26/14. Offices are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian and PR. Your speech should highlight your qualifications/skills and goals. The first introductory meeting for Peer Leadership will be held Tuesday September 30th after school in A216 Mr. VanHouten’s room. You must provide your own ride home by 350pm.
