Day 188 of AD 2014, Monday July 7, #WordFromCurtis is... DO YOU TRUST? Part 2 «Isaiah 26:3-4 ESV» You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. One true statement Ive heard which is still funny to me is, TRUST IS EARNED. Indeed trust is earned but given where & in what/who humans place their trust makes the whole scenario funny. Can u tell me exactly what ur barber did to earn ur trust so much that u simply act upon his instructions without hesitation but when it comes to Gods instructions u begin to put ur head to use, weighing options before u heed? (Sometimes we even ignore) - Ur barber says, raise ur head lemme shave off the beard under ur chin. With a razor in his hand u obey without thinking of how that chicken was easily slaughtered during Christmas or how that guy was murdered by another guy. - God says, wait for me a little longer, it shall be well. Then u begin to think abt how old that sister got before getting married/how that good man struggled & is still struggling. Then u adopt the PRE-PLANNING approach: deciding on alternatives just in case Gods plans fail. - God speaks & u ask can it be? - Man speaks & u say, O y not! PATHETIC! Weve studied earlier we must not live a life of TRUST NO ONE but when d trust u impose in man outweighs that in God then smth is so NOT RIGHT! 1. Were most INSECURE & hv lost our peace of mind cos our trust isnt solely & firmly in Jesus; and Satan wishes we stayed on like that. (v.3) 2. Were living shaky & insecure lives cos our trust isnt in the ROCK that cleft for saints; and believe u me, thats exactly where Satan wants us so we may miss the masterplan for our lives. NOTE: The moment God speaks & u hear another voice which says, WHAT IF? Know that Satan is knocking hard. Shut him off before he motivates u to weigh Gods direction on the scale of conventional logic & insurance. Quit trusting humans & systems ABOVE YHVH & His Word cos only ONE SET can ensure ur fulfilment in this life. #TonicForRighteousLiving °Curtis Judd Nana Ahenkan° (Alleluia! Forever Inc.)
