Blizzard of Ozz - Ozzy Osbourne This, and Diary of a Madman would undoubtedly be my favourite 2 albums of all time.... I cant remember the first time I heard them, theyve just always been there, but Blizzard has everything I love about music... Randy Rhoads is the reason I love the guitar, why I love rock music. The light that burned too brightly. Randy was only 23 years old when he was working on solos like Mr Crowley, Suicide Solution, Revelation.... what magic couldve come from his fingers, if only... Despite all the controversy that has surrounded this piece of musical genius, I have always loved it, and it cements Ozzy and his axemen at the top of any list I have. Everyone has a happy place that they go off to when shit gets too much.... for me, my happy place is this song, more precisely, 247 into it, when Ozzy calls out -I know that things are going wrong for me, you gotta listen to my words and then Randy does something magic, I have no idea what, but it elevates me and makes everything else meaningless for about 30 seconds....every single time I hear it. youtu.be/0hk2wdOm9bo
