Dear God thank you for showing me continually that we can make it through the most toughest of times. Thank you foremost for taking care of me and Kiona and people in our area during the freezing rain and iced over roads that was 3-4 in. thick. Thank you for your mercy and keeping us from any power outages. Thank you that there was no major harm or injuries to our church family nor in the communities around us. Thank you for an understanding boss who said just get a sub in the morning when I told her my car was stuck solid at the bottom of my hilly snowy iced over drive and I couldnt get it unstuck much less get up the hill. And thank you that I was able to video her proof so she would know I wasnt making excuses. Thank you for the brothers from the church who asked to come and shovel my drive even though I said no because it would melt more the next day and be easier to shovel. Thank you for helping me to dig the snow out today from under my front tires so my car could be unstuck. Thank you for the strength you gave me to shovel ice and snow and clear enough of a space to get up my drive. Thank you for my elderly neighbor who showed up with a shovel and helped me for about 40 minutes even though it took about 75 minutes. Thank you for showing me that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Oh and thank you for one more thing...thank you that Steve is coming home from Honduras tonight. Well...one other thing Lord. Thank you that the weather is supposed to get in the 60s so that Steve doesnt have to deal with 100 degree heat. LOL. Lord you really do have a sense of humor!!
