Dec 2007, Kenyans were presumably deprived of their right to elect freely and fairly their preferred President and got a negotiated coalition gvt; Kenyans were transformed to IDPS up-to-date, ICC let the dust settle and now graciously decries lack of evidence against the perceived perpetrators of impunity and abuse of human rights one by one- now 2 guys are hoping to be off the ICC noose very soon after the same happened to Uhuru Kenyatta recently; the ghost of tribalism cannibalized Kenyans in 2007 and indirectly in 2013 in form of tribal political coalitions. The 2013 presidential elections were not clearly and convincingly contested and won. Kenyans have all again been pitched into tribal cocoons and no one cares as long as Jubilee is ruling! Indeed Jubilee with its humiliating tyranny of numbers has gone to a state of ruling by the fist! No one seems ready enough to hear the dissenting voices of the opposition. It irks Kenyans who support CORD and clearly portrays Kenya as a state for Jubilee supporters. According to me the president is in control of parliament through tyranny of numbers and he may suffocate his political nemesis in the never vanishing highway of exclusion. It seems hopeless now that space for consultative leadership is not anywhere near us. When will we recognize one another as brothers and sisters or patriots? Where are we headed? Why should power be abused? why should freedom be stolen after the apparently consecutively stolen elections? I say CORD- DO NOT GIVE UP the fight for a better Kenya. Only use brains and avoid fists. CORD has the peoples power which is usually supreme. Nevertheless I hope for the best as a Kenyan. Nobody is bigger than Kenya no matter which side of the political divide you hail from.
