December 5, 2014 SHERIFFS OFFICE PROMOTES TWO SERGEANTS Sanilac County Sheriff Garry Biniecki is proud to announce the promotions of two new Sergeants. Deputy Danny Owen, a 4 year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office has been promoted to the position of Corrections Sergeant. Sgt. Owen has served the Sheriffs Office in various roles, notably his leadership involvement in the Corrections Division Field Training Program. Deputy Shelly Park has been promoted to the position of Uniform Services Sergeant. Sergeant Park has served the Sheriff’s Office since 2001 in various roles, serving as Corrections Deputy, Uniform Services Deputy, Special Response Team Member and Medical Examiner Special Investigator. “I congratulate and welcome these two Sergeants to our leadership team. I am very proud of the initiative shown by my staff and their willingness to step up and use their leadership skills to assist us in moving forward in our pledge to serve the public”, stated Sheriff Biniecki.
