ENTREPRENEURS ARE MORAL HEROES/ THE ETHICS OF ENTREPRENEURIAL SHIP AND PROFIT. BY LewRockwell.COM his guy is truly a worthy adversary of thought. He is challenging as a promoter of the pro-capitalist agenda and the free-market system. Though he has a tendency to equate one with the other. Too treat them as equals, both emerging simultaneously on the economic landscape. Though he does not distinguish the various forms of capitalism or the free market systems he still manages to put together a fair argument based in economic themes of various periods of pro-capitalist thought and imagination. Pro-capitalism in the 21 century is not the same as pro-capitalism of the 17 and 18 centurys due to emerging technology, that to a limited extent, removed human labor from the production cycle in the 21 century, and which was based in cast and class or oligarchic capitalism in the 17-18 centuries. His attempt to balance pro-capitalist interest with opposition to State interest as the antagonist of capitalist intent, illustrates just how manipulative the capitalist intent to evade its legal obligation too social interest, especially the interest of the producer verse the labors,, manifest itself in the monopolization of wages, but then again he is talking about a capitalist economy and not a free-market economy, where the laboring class is represented by representatives who enters the fray as representatives of labor and wages. There again, he errors, in assuming that the state acts on behalf of the labors interest, rather then in the interest of the producers. This is best seen in the actions of President Ronald Regans attack on the Air Traffic Controller Strike of the 1980s, where state intervention strangled the unions, eventually lead to or the attack on labor interest and the crumbling of the Free Market ability to balance interest. Nor does he take into account the States attack on labor during the Clinton Administration or that of the Bush Administration continuing to the present Obama administration. He argues that it is the right to have the capitalist agenda evade the social responsibility or taxation on production and wealth, but fails too mention that the State has been complicit in assuring a continuation of capitalist interest in the Supreme Courts ruling that corporations are citizens of the United States rather then Business interest affording the Corporation rights and protections under the constitution and the Bill of Rights, nor does he mentions that the State in the interest of the capitalist institution has bailed the business interest with public funds in four of the last great recessions and not allow the Free Market System correction; alleged to protect public interest and labor rights, but too the contrary of building an oligarchic system of governance controlled by capitalist interest. In other words actions by the States and the Supreme Courts, legislative bodies and congressional actions has extended the reach and powers of international Capitalist, while simultaneously restricting the grasp of labor. He, Mr. Rockwell, wishes us to believe that Capitalism is the panacea for social ills facing us. But fails to mention that the Capitalist interest in the control of Natural Resources in the production cycle are the many reasons accounting for our social and international ills. The post-wars following the Second World War are to a greater extent representative of this interest. We no longer fight Wars for the freedoms and liberties, we fight wars for the control of the Natural Resources; such resources as Oil, Water, Iron, Air, and other naturally occurring resources, not in the interest of a Free Market System, but in the interest of a Capitalist Agenda. We are not engaged in a holy war or a war too Democracy or a free market system, but, rather wars to promote the Capitalist agenda. To equate such wars with magnanimous slogans reaches beyond sanity into the insane capitalist ideology: that capitalism in its inherent safe guards, or protecting wealth generation; within the hands of a few, who are more capable and less likely to produce chaos based in the inherit morality of those so selected by natural selection to lead, based in wealth, not in integrity or the creation of a republic. We see where such thinking got Europe as well as the longest lasting empire in the history of mankind - The Romeo-Creek empires. I only had the opportunity to scan this brief essay, but knowing the position of the far right, and having seen it in practice for the former 40 yrs., I am familiar with the argument and interest of the capitalist agenda. Nothing new here. But what is striking is that the centrist point of few has been lost in the debate and the interest to strike a balance between production and social interest has been silenced or given a pronounced label of anti-American regarding the free market v capitalist agenda. We have become a nation of extreme perfunctory partisan ism. Mr. Rockwell, if in fact this is his name and not a corporation doing business as AKA, is pro-capitalist and therefore due scrutiny in the public interest. Entrepreneurs Are Moral Heroes – LewRockwell lewrockwell Whenever we act, we employ some physical means (things valued as goods) – at a minimum our body and its standing room, but in most cases also various other, “external” things...
