The incumbent administrator of a certain college course; reports to the Dean Drop - v. To drop one or more subject from a semester while still staying enrolled. E-Lib - n. (Electronic Library) A computer library that enable students to use computer or the internet for free; each student is allowed to use the E-lib for free for 24 budget hours Expulsion - n. A verdict to a violating student not allowing him or her to re-enroll in the same school Failing Grade - n. (5.00) FEUCSO - n. (Far Eastern University Central Student Organization) they are the student council of the university; they maintain peace and order, implement rules, come up with school projects; they generally organizes the school Full Scholar - n. A student having able to attain a GWA of 1.20-1.00; a Dean’s lister; A student having a 100% scholarship with book allowance Freedom Park - n. Located in front of FEU Chapel; student body’s favorite meeting and lounging area; renamed into Tamaraw’s Plaza GWA - n. General Weighted Average; A student’s mean score converted into points or units; will determine if a student is a Dean’s lister or not Henry Sy - n. Filipino tycoon; richest FEU alumna Hepa Lane - n. Located along R. Papa street filled with street food vendors; student body favorite eating place Ireg - n. (Irregular student); a student not enrolled in a block section Jacket - n. Jammas - The agency name of the school’s maintenance and technical group. Jesse - n. (Kuya Jesse) A famous Jammas; one of the school’s maintenance or elevator operators Kilig - n. A tingly, squirmy, butterfly-stomach sensation one will experience after seeing a good looking student or a famous player of the university. LAP Hall - n. A seminar or conference hall located at Law building’s ground floor; temporarily houses the OSA and the FEUCSO office. Lib - n. [lay-b] (Library) The university library is located at NRH’s third floor Loan - n. Something lent for temporary use. (e.g book) Maningning Miclat - n. A university professor who committed suicide by jumping in one of the campus’ buildings in 2008; a rumored resident ghost. Manong elev - n. (Kuya Elev) Famous endearment of the school’s student body to every elevator operator NSTP - n. (National Service Training Program) firstly signed by the former Pres. GMA as a part of every college syllabus to make students aware and educated regarding external affairs; involve students to immersions and community services; a three unit subject; one can only receive a pass or fail mark in this subject OSA - n. (Office of Student Affairs) Together with FEUCSO they implement rules and regulations around the campus OCES - n.(Office of Community Extension Services) They are in-charge of the NSTP program and the university’s external projects President - n.
