Federica Capitani [Tea Set Cha] 엣지있다 라는 말이 있죠. 특히나 미니멀을 추구하는 것들에 있어 엣지는 정말 중요하다는 생각이 듭니다. 자칫하면 심심한 것이 되어버릴 수도 있으니까요. 금요일. 오늘 첫번째로 소개드릴 도예작품에는 바로 그 엣지가 담겨있습니다 :) 일본에서 약 2년 동안 디자인과 각종 프로젝트들로 일을 한 뒤,이탈리아 디자이너 Federica Capitani는 2009년, 런던에서 그녀의 이름을 딴 Federica Capitani 디자인 스튜디오를 만들었습니다. 일본에서의 문화적인 프로젝트를 작업했던 경험과 그들의 차 문화는 그녀가 Rosenthal Studio Line을 위한 미니멀한 차 컬렉션을 만드는 것에 커다란 영감을 주었습니다. 이미지에서 볼 수 있듯이, 작품은 미니멀한 조형언어로 표현이 되어있는데요, 주전자, 찻잔, 받침, 그릇이 함께 조화를 이루고 있습니다. 찻잔의 겉에 있는 점들은 잡는 즐거움을 느끼게 하면서도 과하지 않도록 양각으로 표현되어 있습니다. 또한 그 섬세한 표면은 열의 분산을 가능하게 합니다. 여기에 자연적인 색감과 구조로 된 대나무 받침과, 그릇은 자연의 따뜻한 느낌을 주면서도 식기들과 잘 어우러지며 하나의 컬랙션으로서의 성격을 강조하는 듯 합니다. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Federica Capitani [Tea Set Cha] There are many minimal things in the world, and Friday, todays first contents is minimal style thing too. but i think it is also unique in its design. After a period in Japan working on design and cultural projects, Italian designer Federica Capitani moved to London in 2009 and established Federica Capitani Design Studio. Working on a cultural design project in Japan has inspired Federica to create a minimalist tea collection for Rosenthal Studio Line, taking influences from Japanese tea culture. The design uses a language of minimal shapes, so that teapot, cups, saucers and bowls can live together in harmony. The constellation of dots placed on the outer skin of the teacups creates a low-relief ornament that has a lightness of touch and is pleasing to hold, its delicate raised surface also enabling heat dispersal. The natural colours and structure of the bamboo saucers and bowls add a raw warmth to the collection and emphasise the ceremonial character of the set.
