Festival Special - Heartstart Course Tuesday, 22 October 2013 - 6:30pm (TBC) This event is being put on as part of the Thatcham Festival of Art and Leisure. To book on this course you must come along to our drop-in information session at The Hub on 12th October 2013 from 10.30am. This event teaches the Heartstart Emergency Life Support Skills. The training is free, although we do ask for donations to cover our running costs, and lasts about two hours. Topics covered include: Priorities/the conscious casualty The unconscious casualty Cardiac arrest Suspected heart attack Choking It will cover a mixture of practical and theory. At the end of the event, providing you complete the course, you will be presented with a certificate. All details TBC, watch this space...
