For best implementation of Public Services Guarantee Act, Sensitization of ground level officers is need of hour: Dar ANANTNAG, JUNE 08: For best implementation of Public Services Guarantee Act sensitization and capacity building of ground level officers is need of the hour, so that the benefits of the act can percolate to the common people. This was stated by Additional Secretary GAD, Mr. Bashir Ahamd Dar at Dak Banglow Khanabal in day long capacity building cum awareness programme for designated officers and appellate authorities under Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011. District Development Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mr. G. M. Dar also attended the programme besides all district, tehsil and sectoral officers. Mr. Bashir Ahmad Dar gave a power point presentation regarding the act and discussed the Act threadbare. He said that despite being implemented on August 10, 2011 the officers on ground level are still not fully aware about the different provisions of the Act. He further added that the aim of these capacity building programmes is to acquaint the field officers with full preparedness for cent percent implementation of the Act. He instructed the concerned officers to ensure availability of form 1, and 3 and other relevant documents with regard to the act. DDC Anantnag speaking on the occasion presented the overall review of the implementation of the act in the district. He stressed for organising of such awareness programmes for making the designated officers fully aware about Public Services Guarantee Act besides Right to Information Act. He assured that different programmes likes debates, seminars and special lectures shall be arranged for the purpose.
