For the last couple of months, I just decided to keep alway form news papers due to the continuous negative publications. Not that Im ignorant of national issues but... I mean, why should I get depressed & die too quickly, I havent lived my life fully as yet :) By the way, today was different.Ive heard the best news ever, which triggered this urge to read almost every news :-). All social media have been flashing the breaking news on the sentencing of a member of the parliament ( Paul Tienstein, former National Planning Minister) to 9 years of imprisonment with hard labour for misappropriating developmental funds to suit his/his cronies interests. Im so happy to be able to see this day as Ive thought this will never happen during my lifetime. At lest my faith in PNG justice system has been revived and I can say that PNG is heading towards the right direction ( hopefully...). We can now be assured that there is no separate justice system for white collar criminals & any common criminals, which seem to be in existence for the past donkey years. Justice has been served! I cant wait to see more white collar criminals getting sent to jail. Thanks Task Force Sweep! We are about to see the dawn of a new era for our justice system. # recapping my day~ news of the day#
