I dont mean to get political with giving food to the hungry but it is so easy to just buy cheap, processed foods to give to the poor. Would you do this to your own family? I always felt hypocrite when I buy those canned foods to feed homeless children when I feed my son healthy food. Why is it so hard for is to serve one another? I would love to see locals getting together and prepare fresh foods to serve the hungry. Why do we do this only over the holidays? Why are we getting too political about helping others?
