From the Prescott Valley Police: Community: Multiple vehicles damaged in private property accident At about 4 p.m. on January 28, Prescott Valley Police and emergency personnel responded to the Walgreens parking lot for a multiple vehicle collision. When officers arrived they learned that a 2006 Cadillac driven by an 84-year-old Prescott Valley man was parked near the south side of the store. Witnesses said the vehicle struck a steel post in front of the parking spot, which stopped the vehicle with the wheels spinning. The vehicle was put into reverse and sped backwards in a circle, striking four vehicles. The vehicle became lodged between the curb and another vehicle in the front of the store. At this point indications are that the driver thought he was applying the brakes but was applying the accelerator. Both he and his passenger did not report being injured and fortunately no other drivers or pedestrians were injured. The collision caused extensive damage to multiple vehicles. There are no indications of any type of impairment on the driver.
