GENERAL NOTICE It has come to the attention of the Malawi Law Society that Mr. David Zimkonde Nyasulu and Mr. Mateyu Sisya have been appearing in some subordinate courts in Malawi as legal practitioners representing some clients. As far as the Malawi Law Society is aware, Mr. Nyasulu has not renewed his annual practice licence for the current year i.e. 1st February 2014 to 31st January 2015 and he does not have any offices where he operates from. As such, he has no right of audience whatsoever to appear in any court in Malawi as a legal practitioner or indeed file and register any documents with any government offices such as the Registrar General’s Department or indeed the Ministry of Lands. Similarly, Mr. Sisya was never admitted to the Malawi Bar to practice the profession of the law in Malawi. As such, he too, does not have any right of audience in any of our courts to so appear as a legal practitioner or file and register any documents with any government offices such as the Registrar General’s Department or the Ministry of Lands. Any member of the public, who deal with these two gentlemen, purportedly as legal practitioners, do so at their own peril and the Malawi Law Society shall not entertain any complaints against them as they are not its members.
