GOD IS SPEAKING CAN YOU HEAR HIM ? God is speaking can you hear Him ? There are many voices around us,which one is God.? Many are struggling to identify the voice of God. God wants to fellowship and communicate with us. Thats two-way communication. Why? Because you cant really have a relationship unless there is true dialogue. How do we get to know a person? By communicating with them. By talking and listening There are about 8 billion people on the planet today, everybody is looking for a way out.The Philosophy are saying, think your way through. The Indulgence says, drink your way out.The Psychology is saying therapy your way out.The drug cultures says;smoke your way out.Politics says Spend your way out. Communism is saying Strike your way out.Industry says Work your way out.Science says Invent your way out.Sports and games are saying Play your way out.Media is saying Entertain your way out. Buddhism is saying meditate your way out.Mormonism says Marry your way out. Catholicism is say idolising your way out. Islam is saying Terrorize and kill your way out.Satan is saying rebels, lie, sin and become what you want out. Jesus is saying I am the way,the true and the life,no one can come out except by me.God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to take our place and to die for us. He did this so that we could once again have fellowship with Him. In the book of Hebrews we see that we can have access to Gods very presence, ...having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way... (Hebrews 10:19-20a). He wants to talk to us. And He wants us to listen and talk to Him, too. In His presence I feel joy,I feel peace All the pressures of the world can’t find me,I feel Love,I feel free In His presence we trade all our sorrows for gladness,In your presence All the chains are breaking,In your presence All fear is casted away,In your presence,I find restoration Everything you and me need are in His. Presence We cant make demands on Almighty God. We cant shake our fist at the sky and say, all right God, let me hear you. But we can ask, seek, and knock, and the Bible promises that God will open the door. God will reveal Himself to those who humbly seek Him. Samuel heard the voice of God, but did not recognize it until he was instructed by Eli (1 Samuel 3:1–10). Gideon had a physical revelation from God, and he still doubted what he had heard to the point of asking for a sign, not once, but three times (Judges 6:17–22,36–40). When we are listening for God’s voice, how can we know that He is the one speaking? First of all, we have something that Gideon and Samuel did not. We have the complete Bible, the inspired Word of God, to read, study, and meditate on. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16–17). When we have a question about a certain topic or decision in our lives, we should see what the Bible has to say about it. God will never lead us contrary to what He has taught in His Word (Titus 1:2). To hear Gods voice we must belong to God. Jesus said, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). Those who hear God’s voice are those who belong to Him—those who have been saved by His grace through faith in the Lord Jesus. These are the sheep who hear and recognize His voice, because they know Him as their Shepherd. If we are to recognize God’s voice, we must belong to Him. AFFIRM AND CONFIRM THE VOICE OF GOD BY THE FOLLOWINGS SCRIPTURES: All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (II Timothy 3:16-17). BY THE CONVICTIONS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall not teach everyone his fellow citizen, and everyone his brother, saying, know the Lord, for all will know Me, from the least to the greatest of them (Hebrews 8:10-11). THE PROPHETIC (word of knowledge, word of wisdom, personal prophecy): Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good (I Thessalonian 5:19-21). But judge all prophesy in His presence. GODLY COUNSEL: Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety (Proverbs 11:14). Confirmation: By the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be confirmed (Matthew 18:16). THE PEACE OF GOD IN YOUR SPIRIT: Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful (Colossians 3:15).Isaiah 26:3 BE SURE OF THE TIMING OF GOD.We hear His voice when we spend time in Bible study and quiet contemplation of His Word. The more time we spend intimately with God and His Word, the easier it is to recognize His voice and His leading in our lives. Employees at a bank are trained to recognize counterfeits by studying genuine money so closely that it is easy to spot a fake. We should be so familiar with God’s Word that when someone speaks error to us, it is clear that it is not of God. While God could speak audibly to people today, He speaks primarily through His written Word. Sometimes God’s leading can come through the Holy Spirit, through our consciences, and through the exhortations of other people. By comparing what we hear to the truth of Scripture, we can learn to recognize God’s voice. PLEASE LISTEN TO MORE HERE. youtu.be/u5vS8oLnQLE
