Getting over the trauma slowly but surely... So today I met an acquaintance for the first time,who I have been speaking to telephonically about work for several weeks. We meet, I extend my arm for a handshake, as one does. He dismisses it, goes in for a hug, and then lands a kiss on my neck. My freakin neck! Then he proceeds to talk about work as though nothing happened. Wow! Traumatized! Not sure if I should be angry, it happened so fast, but the discomfort lingers. Have the rules of engagement changed? Personal space doesnt exist anymore? Dumbfounded for real!
