Griffith City Council has placed on Public Exhibition the following Draft Policy: “Risk Profile and Assessment Criteria for Earth Dams used for Commercial Aquaculture Production in the Griffith Local Government Area” This draft policy was presented to Council’s Business Development and Major Projects Committee for consideration at a meeting held May 26, 2014. Council is required to notify the public and provide the opportunity for submissions regarding this policy. You can view the draft policy at Council’s Admin Building, 1 Benerembah Street, between 8:15am– 4pm Monday to Friday, at the Griffith City Library, 233-237 Banna Avenue, and on Council’s website griffith.nsw.gov.au/cp_themes/default/page.asp?p=DOC-PEK-04-88-50 To make comment on the policy, you can write to the General Manager, Griffith City Council, PO Box 485, Griffith NSW 2680 by 4pm on Friday July 25, 2014.
