HAPPY FATHERS Day to every Dad I know and to those dearest to me. To my favorite guy in the world - my son - Orange. For all his great laughter, peaceful demeanor and loving ways. For finding loyalty and clearance for his calling and a job well done. Most of all, for being one of the best gourmet cooks in D.C. and Virginia, hands down. (Laughter). To my DAD - JESUS, Sr. , for his quiet loving acceptance of irreparable things and ultimate Gentlemans ways; for my father in law - ISIDRO SALAS, Sr,. for his elegance, kindness, generous words and deepest affection for my children; for DR. SALVADOR AREVALO, for sharing many wonderful stories which cemented my deepest understanding of my familys legacy; my brothers in law, Isidro Edgar,Jr. and Eduardo and our dearest Marcelo. As a whole, they never failed to lovingly see my children during their limited visits to the Philippines. I am grateful for their many greeting keepsake cards which are valuable family tools for my grandchildren; To my late brother, Robert, for his love, open and wholehearted support and attention; for an older brother, Romeo, for his supporting words, reassurances and beautiful love notes, I miss him very much. To my cousins in law - Antonio Santos, M.D., for his time and thoughtfulness; Hern Zenarosa, for his brilliance and for being around during my unexpected family visits even staying patiently past midnight with the many story sharing of all his beautiful and elegant sisters in law; to my best pals of two decades - BARRY MARCHETTI, who has fulfilled his many dreams in world travels who love my children relentlessly and TOM SHEIE, a man who cant harm anyone, who believed my dreams of going forward without question; the eldest of 4, he made sure that each family member has every sense of belonging and a say, without pun intended. His Mom at 92 is still his heart. To Dr. Levy Barre- Baldia for his financial success stories and inspirations. There are my late brothers, Roger, who passed on at an early age and to this day is my truest best Buddy with the fresh laughter and who seemed near me each time I play my collectible guitars and of course, my late eldest brother, Jesus, Jr. I. believe that we have more heartfelt and less distant conversations today in Church and in many other occasions like this to date than when he was alive, something we perhaps regret together as a Family; and there is my brother, Ruben, who has successfully achieved his highest goals in life and who became the towering and beloved Patriarch to all his nieces and nephews; to my brother in laws; Darrell Woody, who has taken care of my sister, Cherry Pie, thank you; Stephen Frederick Ding, an example of quiet unquestionable genteel personality. To all my cousins and other cousins in law (Poch Arevalo, Billie Vizcarra, Barry Hastings. The Jaymalins: Roberto (General), Mel, Serry, Jessie, Gene, Maning) who lived their great lives to the fullest; to my thoughtful nephews (you know who you are) and nephews in law who are leading the way: Tony, Jr. (MD) , Dean, Dr., Gary Bogarin, Tony Magbitang; that good looking Feliciano racer from Antipolo; The Arevalo cousins: Jerome, Joseph, Julius, Ronald, Jesus Gregorio, Jojo and Rocky; the Africa Boys; Erwin and the Acunas; Wexford Vila and Arthur Dagdag; Rocky Krill; Patrick Santos , Abe Tan, The Melos - Marges sons, Arnie and Jason, Esq. , Arevalo, Sean Salas, Adrian and Robert Dexter Ding; Rainier Manalaysay, Roel and Jess Lomabao, Russiels husband, Bien Isidro, Raymond, Teddy, Pocholo, Marlon and Marvin, all Jaymalin. Happy Fathers Day to all.
