HAVING A MOMENT lol Everything Rises & Falls on Leadership Having a purposefully filled week of getting to establish stronger relationships with people, young people and Families why? Am compelled to Lead, Example and go forward in Strength to Guide people to change lives. It really is what i believe i was born for... How? Relationship & Influence.simple. I remember the First day i was given a Leadership book to read. Thank you Hanisi N James ONeill i will never forget! I was 17, sick in bed and couldnt walk, i had a massively swollen knee and almost completely infected leg but i hopped up and greeted my then Youth Leader in as she smiled, shared and cared. I asked her whats that? She said- its for you... 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by. John C Maxwell That was the beginning of stoking my Fire for influencing the sphere of young people i encountered every day! I couldnt put the book down, and once id finished i wanted more, so i read it again and then i bought another, then another and then the bibles (and bought some for others to pass on the precious Gems that each page carried- i wanted to duplicate this Leadership thing with others, so off i went. Overly ambitious and without Fear, I knew there would be something greater in it) Nearly 10 years later, im still Learning BUT what i have learnt thus far has carried me through some very challenging aspects of dealing with others- more so Youth :) and has seen Breakthrough for young people all over... 1 strategy that has NEVER failed me: The law of Buy in- have people buy into you First (Relationship) then into the Vision (Influence). People will follow. Leadership is more than a title, it is influence. Who do You influence??? That tells you who you can and will Lead :) I recommend to anyone who wants to add more value to their Leadership personally. Grab a John C. Maxwell cover, audio, bible or whatever... You will most definitely make a difference!!!
