Hats off to DSW for taking a stand on traditions & family values, by choosing to be closed on Thanksgiving Day in order for their employees to be with their loved ones, & not contribute further to the erosion of our Traditions, Holidays & family time for the sake of greed. I will definitely shop at DSW this season, along with Farm & Fleet, all mom & pop stores, & any other corporate stores that choose to stay closed on Thanksgiving, & not open to at least 5AM on Friday, to give their employees time to celebrate & relax, in support of their conviction. Lets collectively send a message to those retail corporate stores that do not need to be open, by not only collectively boycotting them by not going there on Thanksgiving, but also the WHOLE holiday season. It is not like the heads of these stores are out working themselves, nope they are home that day spending time with their own family & friends, while they FORCE their employees to give up their Holiday in the pursuit of the almighty dollar, & making their wallet fatter. If they are so insistent on this then they themselves & all their family should be in their stores working right along side their employees then too. I hope that this goes VIRAL, & in this day & age of sharing meaningless insignificant jokes & pics, all my family & friends decide to do the same by sharing/posting this on their own walls.
