I WANT TO LIVE...LET ME LIVE... I am not sure what else I can do. I press my face up against the door so hard and I give my biggest smile and sweetest wiggles in hopes that I wont just be a number. That is really what I am- a number. An invisible face. A nobody. People have gotten so numb to the way we look and the outcome which is our fate. Just another pitbull in a shelter. Another thrown away dog. Close your eyes. Pretend we are not here. But we are and we are dying before we even get a chance at living : (. Yes, I am a pitbull. I am an american shelter dog. SO many look like me! I am here just like the hundreds and thousands across the US. BUT today.. I am not gonna give up! It is the end of the line for me but this is not an option. I am not gonna let the way that I look kill me. I am not gonna let the fact that the one person who promised me a good life lied and left me here to die, make me stop praying. I know that there is a family out there who would love me. Who I would love back 10 fold. I am a sweet soul with only 8 mths on this earth. SO much more to give. I am kind to all the other victims in my run both big and small. The difference between them and me- is God put me in this body and no one gives me a second glance. Will you? A nice volunteer is advocating for me so hard. See she once was like many and only had the cute and fluffies but somehow she ended up with a pitbull as a temporary foster and that pitbull changed her life. Like so many who gave us a chance- we showed them what we are capable of...love, trust and companionship. So here she is, she is back and she DID SEE ME. She is begging all to see me too and donate, foster and SAVE ME! I am sooo urgent. Spare what you can. It is my life. I promise I will always be grateful and keep every one of you in my hopeful heart. I want to love so more. I want a family. I want to take more breaths. I want to live. .
