I am getting requests on how Jordan is doing. It will be easiest to update everyone with this one post. Currently hes getting a trach. Even though he cant tell us verbally he isnt happy about this procedure his body language spoke for him. Earlier this morning as the R.N. was telling us he isnt responding to simple commands. This was upsetting news so I left the room. I went back to the waiting room to sign for his trach and the feeding tube. I wanted to make sure what the nurse told me was true. I started talking to him, held his hand and said, Jordan if you can hear me squeeze my hand. He squeezed my hand. God is good! I looked at his Grandma and I told her he squeezed my hand. She told the nurse who was outside the room. The nurse almost knocked us over trying to get to Jordan. She started tapping his chest and told him to open his eyes and he did. I could tell he wanted to say something. He started moving his arms and legs. Too much stimulation isnt good for him because of the head injury. Please keep praying for him it means so much.
