I have few friends in the US who used to be hardcore Republican supporters and would criticize Obama by calling him names all the time before the 2008 elections. After the elections, when Obama won and gave that famous sensational speech, one of my republican friends said tears rolled down his eyes with sentiments running very high and I remember he had said “no matter I don’t like him, now my country has chosen him as my leader so I’ll have confidence in him and hope he’ll give a better life to all Americans and bring us out of this recession”. Perhaps this kind of attitude is what makes America the greatest nation on earth. Now that our nation has chosen Modi as our leader, let’s have faith in his leadership and give him a fair chance to bring development and eradicate corruption. So my friends election is over now. Stop fighting, mudslinging on others, rise above parochial politics and think about nation.
