I know a lot of people may seem this and will probably laugh or want to call someone over and tell them Hey, look at this is! but me being the person I am and holding the beliefs that I do, this saddens me. I believe all life is balanced and that we are all connected. This is a prime example. This dog, who most people believe to be lesser than us, is trying desperately to keep other creatures alive even if its just for a little while longer. It even seems to look at the people filming as if its wondering why they arent trying to help. While it is doing this there are people amused by this enough to take a video, start talking about it, and even laugh at this odd occurance. It baffles me that this mere dog has so much compassion and appreciation for life, enough to attempt its best to preserve it even in a creature viewed as inferior to itself, and yet so many of us fail see the importance of the lives around us. We are all important. Fish, bird, cat, dog, squirrel, human... we are all equal. It hurts that so many fall to see that.
