I think something that hasnt been mentioned but really should be is that this campaign possibly is about more than just Floridas future, it could very well effect the nation as a whole. I believe if Crist wins, it will send a positive message to many moderate Republican politicians that they do not have to stay aligned with a party that has ventured so far into Crazyville and left them behind. Like Crist, I always say I didnt leave the Republican Party, it left me. (I was a registered Repub the first 18 years I could vote). A win here lets them know they have an out, and I think many of them would love to take it if they were able to be convinced that it wouldnt be career suicide, which a win by Crist would clearly illustrate. But then again, what the hell do I know. ;-)
