I want to take the time to wish a very special person a happy birthday. He is not only a father figure, a role model, and best friend but he is also my older brother. He was given such a huge burden at such a young age when my father left, but he carried it like a man and made us all proud. He has shaped me into the person I am today, raising me to become an independent woman with values and determination. Without you brother I would probably be listening to Justin Bieber instead of Metallica, and watching shows like Jersey Shore instead of The Twilight Zone. Let us not forget the ways of the force... Seeing you with your daughter makes me so proud to see the wonderful man you have become. Even though you weren’t dealt the best cards and life kept knocking you down, you never gave up. Because of you, I’ll never give up. And although I really dislike that you can write songs a lot easier than I can I still love you. Happy Birthday Brother!!
