Id like to put our rehearsal time in a perspective everyone can understand. We only rehearse 2 hours a day. With the three days a week (subtracting tech week, holidays, and your 3 allowed absences) that gives us 3 24 hr) days to learn and perfect a show with. 25 songs and dance numbers and 19 scences. Professional actors who have degrees and years of experience take 7 days. So we are attempting to put together a high quality show 4 days faster than the professionals. Perhaps this can help everyone understand why availability was such a large factor in the casting. Still happy to answer questions about what youre doing in the show. I spent nearly 5 hours making sure I could use everyone in as many scences and songs as possible. Thanks to all who have committed to the show so far!
