Its really hard to keep faith in yourself when those closest to you dont believe in you. My grandmother and my uncle were both musicians. Grandma raised 3 kids playing piano part time and working in a beauty shop. My childhood home used to host tap dancing lessons in the dining room on the hardwood floors. One side of my bedroom had a beauticians chair, a dryer chair, a shampoo sink, and a table with a mirror. Now I work full time and try to play music too. But sometimes it feels like a lost cause. Especially when not 1 single person im your family shows up to support us, except my wife . Even though they were all raised by a musicians. I wonder if grandma ever just wanted to give up?
