Korbin has had a good day. Hes ate 1 1/2 fruit cups and 1/2 of a pudding cup. He went to bingo today and got some really awesome prizes. So this evening weve been playing with the prizes he got. His numbers are still coming down and he will have another ultrasound tomorrow. Lets pray it shows some improvements! Hes also needing platelets and blood transfusions less often which is good. And yesterday was his dressing change. It went better, but (brace yourself) his skin was peeling off with the sticker. So we decided to use another dressing. It has to be changed every 2-3 days, but its less sticky and easier on the skin. We figured it would give his skin some time to heal. His broviac is in a terrible place for those who dont know. Its basically under his arm. Poor thing. But he did so much better. Hes such a trooper. He has also been getting cranky with the nurses during blood pressures so hes getting his spunk back lol and also today he ditched the soft pants and wore blue jeans haha. We look forward to each day to see him improving!
