Kwachaaaaaa!! On a very positive note allow me to congratulate Hon. Dr. Chris Daza for taking up the Ministerial Position in the ruling PP. I strongly believe that Her Excellency President Joyce Banda took her time to search around both within and outside her party, in order to appoint the rightful candidate for this very important position and I’m convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that she had a confirmation from the bottom of her heart that you were the best fit for this gap. I also deem that this appointment go well with your desire to serve the Malawian Citizenry as not long ago, you were among the candidates who contested for MCP Presidency. Our dreams come true in many ways for sure. I consider that this is your opportunity to “off-load” whatever you had in your plan to serve Malawians if you were elected President. That which you were crying and desiring to do to mtundu wa a Malawi, do it, this is your chance. The Party you have joined has totally failed in many aspects and I trust amayi wants to resuscitate it by bringing in people with a different perspective. You are such one person who should bring that much needed change in her party for the reason that you embrace qualities of hard work, patriotism and incorruption which you have developed through rubbing shoulders with great people in MCP for years but also under the leadership of Dr Lazarus Chakwera for the past months. If the Minister of Finance is proposing that travelling, both local and international be cut in order to make a saving so that funds be allocated to much needed necessities like Health and Education, your role will be to advise and guide the President and Cabinet to ensure strict adherence to the Finance Minister’s proposition, just to mention but one issue within the bounds of governance where you are a Minister. I have conviction that amayi and her party will taste sound principals of leadership through your execution of duty though for very few months, since she’ll soon be handing over the mantle to Dr Chakwera. Your switch is not a loss to MCP at all, but a joy that other parties can recognize the cream that MCP has produced and invested in over time. I wish you and your family all the best, Kwachaaaaaa!!
