Last Tuesday, PSD colleagues, including Permanent Secretary Ms Yong Ying-I, visited HDB Punggol Branch Office to learn from its team about its work to improve service delivery for residents. Also along for the learning journey were senior officers from other public agencies. Following a sharing session about HDB’s latest initiatives for service delivery and public engagement, guests took a tour of the Branch Office to learn about its resident-friendly features. These include self-help stations, a wheelchair-friendly e-kiosk and a play-corner for kids (all the better to serve the many young families who call Punggol home). “We can all learn from HDB’s commitment to ‘last mile’ delivery of their policies and being customer-centric in all their interactions,” said Ms Yong. “Keep up the good work!”
