Last nights Big Bang Theory had a terrific exchange between Sheldon and his Mom: Sheldon: “I’ll condemn you internally while maintaining an outward appearance of acceptance.” Mary: “That is very Christian of you.” I give the creators of the show AND Laurie Metcalf a lot of credit, creating one of the most 3-dimensional and sympathetic born-again Christian characters on TV today. I always feel I could ACTUALLY have a conversation with this woman without wanting to toss her out a window. Well done Mr Lorre!
