Luke 18:41 “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, - TopicsExpress

Luke 18:41 “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” Fascinating- Jesus asks what he wants (even though it’s obvious)… God desires us to articulate to HIM what we need or want... HE desires a relationship with us! I find God responding to the purest & most direct request! And yet we often either generalize in prayer (God bless the whole world) or we are tempted to impress HIM or others with our words! This guy gets it quickly… is ‘very’ clear, very pure, very direct about his need/want! Father... THANK YOU for designing relationships and for desiring us... your created beings... to have such an intimate one with YOU! Teach us how to grow deeper through Your Word and the power of the Holy Spirit! Thank you for leaving us stories such as this to teach us the way You respond to us! ~Pastor Mark
