MAI to Fly to Japan Myanmar Airways International (MAI)aims to launch its first flight to Japan with three flights per week between Yangon and Ibaraki Airport ,northeast of Tokyo later this year. The Airline and the Ibaraki prefectural government signed an agreement recently to launch the service , to be operate as “ schedule charter “ flights. The airport is located around 85 kilometers northeast of Tokyo. After monitoring demand for three months , the carrier will determine whether to continue serving the route. K.Z.Mon
