Madaniyoun Li Tarablos or Civilians for Tripoli CFT sends its sincere congratulations on the occasion of these holidays and holy occasions and the coming of the New Year 2015. CFT consists of a group of transparent clean activists in the public domain joined together with governmental approval in order to exercise pressure and to provide awareness and follow up on much needed social, development projects, educational, sports, in collaboration with other sister civil society organizations, and pertinent all official bodies of Non Governmental Organizations NGO and all local and outside donors. The association printed an office calendar for year 2015, containing pictures of sites and coexistence. These are the true characteristic of the city of Tripoli reflecting the true face of its civilization and culture, and we did these calendars with cooperation from local sponsors such as Municipality of Tripoli and the Chamber of Commerce and the Bar Association, Engineering syndicate and others local businesses and patrons of expatriate Lebanese residing in France. The proceeds of this work goes toward solar powered lighting at the southern entrance of Tripoli in Salam (peace) roundabout and surrounding area. Further, this is a much needed project that is friendly of the environment in lieu of the long historical deprivation of that tortured and war torn poverty stricken city. Our project includes the installation of about 36 new bulbs and poles. Such work will be an exemplary as typical street from where Intermediates and route planning would continue. The estimated cost of the project is about $ 45,000 ( forty five thousand US dollars) and this is the initial cost. We present this to you so you can contribute with us in supporting this project by donating cash or the purchasing of a quantity of calendars to be distributed to your friends and colleagues hoping that this will be the beginning of our future cooperation about any development project that we can cooperate altogether.
