Made it home. What an ordeal. I got searched every step of the way. In Dallas I got searched twice. They were going thru my stuff and the swab they took, set the alarm off. So they had to search even more thoroughly..I even got a pat down...didnt really care because I had gotten there early. I was also thrilled because Aeromexico after weighing all my luggage, said it would be cheaper to upgrade to first class ticket for $100. First class allows two bags at 34 Kilos for free and I had already paid for a third bag for $40. To top it off I get to call and ask for a refund of $140. So it didnt cost me anything extra for bags that weighed as much as me, that were so large I could ridden in them. Then I get to Mexico City,,,Well I got a green light Im free and clear...Not!! . Though it could have been so much worse...I only had to pay $160 dollars for all the beads I bought. It should have been way over that. Because I had already gone thru customs I able to catch an earlier bus so got home an hour early.. It was a God deal. I called the girl that was picking me up at the bus station to let her know I was coming early. Turns out its the first call she been able to get since the storm and as soon as she hung up it stopped working again.. Freaky.. God its great to be home.. Went to the beach to watch the sunset. There are so many shells it hurts to walk. Next time bring shoes. Viva is not so good. She has two different types of bacteria in her ears, and is limping terribly.. Her hip displatia. Everyone else seems to be fine. Lalo had the nerve to ask for more money, for taking care of the yard...lol It will take me weeks to get my lot cleaned up. I couldnt even get to the clothes line. He also said he got the roof fixed. Partially yes, but still has holes. and I need to get the net put back on. Especially since there is another storm coming. My next door neighbor did let me borrow his workers to flip my trailor back up.. All for some cold cokes and a few burritos. It is so sad to drive around and see all the palm trees either broken in half or stripped of their leaves. Ficus trees did not fare well. My friend Brenda had a huge one just snap off at the base. With all the trees down it has improved everyones views..lol. I can see downtown Todos Santos from my front deck and almost a 180 degree view of the ocean.. Its beautiful but had to pretty much lose my plum tree to get it. Maybe its salvageable, time will tell. Some houses and buildings are completely gone. The saddest thing are the beautiful ornate street lamps are all gone. I really hope they replace them but its definitely at the bottom of the list of repairs. The restaurant I love most, has a kitchen and one small section of roof that looks like its going to fall on your head any second.. Fish store is closed but hopefully will open soon.. The vegetable market is open but very little produce to pick from.. The grocery stores are good as long as you dont want anything cold.. Well off to get the clothes off the line.. Hug my crazy dogs and cats and enjoy the fans. If you want to help restore this great town go to my link at GoFundme. Thanks for all the support and prayers.
