Main Street Vero Beach is celebrating Valentine’s Day early with candy hearts, chocolate kisses and lots of love songs from 21 Hearts, 1 Beat and kindheartedness from The Mental Health Association, so put on your pink and red, grab your sweetheart, pull ‘em close to show you care and come dance the night away at Downtown Friday on January 31st from 5:30 - 8:30pm (hours through March) along 14th Avenue in Historic Downtown Vero Beach. “Love will be the music theme from the 21 Hearts, 1 Beat from the Miami Day School”, stated Rick Wykoff, Downtown Friday Entertainment Chair. “We’ve had them open for the headliner band at the Hibiscus Festival the past couple of years and they only had an hour to play and everyone wanted to hear more so we invited them back to help us kick-off the New Year to perform for three hours this time.” The Miami Country Day School Contemporary Music Ensemble: 21 Hearts, 1 Beat, is a performing group comprised of Upper School student vocalists and instrumentalists. Playing a variety of popular music and classic rock, these talented young students are both energetic and versatile. 21 Hearts, 1 Beat, has toured all over the state of Florida and played for special events including the Florida Music Educators Conference in Tampa and Dan Marino’s Autism Walk at Sun Life Stadium.
