Many of the major websites including Netflix are trying to get people to help save net neutrality (open internet) In case some of you dont know, the FCC may be changing the way that we pay for and use the internet. Dont just brush this off like if doesnt mean anything to you. This WILL effect every single person who has internet. The destruction of net neutrality will allow internet providers to charge you more money for the services you already use and most likely already pay for. Meaning, if you watch Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Crackle, Twitch, or ANY site that requires a fast connection you will most likely pay more money just to access them. Do something about it. Today might be your last chance to speak up so dont wait. DO IT NOW! Just because you already pay for broadband cable or DSL does not mean your payment or speeds will stay the same. Think of it like this, you already pay for internet and you get access to everything for one price. If the new legislation passes you will pay what you already pay BUT you wont get all the content you currently have access to. You might have to pay an additional fee to use facebook, or an additional fee for Youtube, or Netflix, or Skype.
