My 5th and final post of positive things as challenged. 1. Recent Honest and very open conversations with three people I admire, love and care about. They say the truth shall set you free it felt so good being so open about my life. 2. The surprised and grateful look on the face of a young lady at the grocery store. Her arms overloaded with more than one should carry, I presented her with my shopping basket. Her eyes opened wide. Her smile melted my heart and then she said what we all say in such a situation...I really only came in for one thing! 3. When I sold my home and left it for the last time, I wrote a letter to the oil company to thank them for their great service and understanding during my final year there. My financial balancing act caused me to pay the oil bill off in smaller payments and they never said a word. In that final payment I praised them and included a number of my I wish You enough cards for everyone in the office. I never heard from them until yesterday. I was driving down the road when I came alongside one of their trucks. The driver, often times one of the owners began beeping his horn at me. He remembered my car. I was blessed because he remembered me. During that difficult year a neighbor/long time friend actually paid one bill as oil was being delivered. So, there you go. Three things a day times five days. Hardly represents all of the blessings I receive everyday. I would be a fool not to mention one of my greatest blessings everyday the honor and privilege of calling you my friends.
