My review on Singham Returns (Hindi film) This lion doesnt roar. What is antonym of Singham.....It is Singham Returns. What is synonym of Rohit Shetty.....It is Sajid Khan. What a downfall....Singham Returns lacks all the good points of Singham. Firstly for such an action film, there needs to be high-intensity, its completely absent. I think Rohit Shetty wrote the story of Sigham Returns in between the break times while filming Chennai Express. I personally loved Chennai Express though many didn’t. But Singham Returns is a bad film. Singham roared cos of the strong villain that was Prakash Rai, in this film its Amol Gupte. Though he has tried hard, he is nowhere near to Prakash Rai. There was a high level of ego clash between Ajay Devgn & Prakash Rai in Singham and also had the continuity. Singham Returns is completely opposite, there are no continuous encounters between Amol Gupte, Zakir Hussain and Ajay Devgn. Singham Returns reminded me of the Game “Virtual Cop”, where you get unlimited bullets to shoot anywhere n to anyone....absolutely brainless. Its 2014 dude, people are not dumb to believe whatever you show, just because the film has too much heroism it does not mean that he can do anything... show something which is believable and there are many creative ways to show that. This is so similar to the old cop films in early 80s.....kuch bhi ho sakta hain n absolutely no respect for Law & Order. LMAO..... Everyone talks about Rohit Shetty using too many cars in action sequences, i think every time this guy calls for a tender and who ever quotes low wins the contract of supplying old cars. Grow up dude. 2 people will definitely be benefited out of this film: 1. The Banian (Vest) sales will go up for sure. (watch the climax where close to 1000 cops go on road sporting their banian....wow a good case study for in-film branding. LMAO 2. The tailor who got the order to stitch all the uniforms, wow he would have made a lot of money for sure. Uniform for Kids also in Yo Yo honey Singh’s special number after the film. Master ji Rohit Shetty ka patloon 1 billaan choti kar do. Hahaha. Ajay Devgn looks too old for the role, his body building n all is fine but he looks like the older version of Sanjay Dutt in most of the scenes. Kareena Kapoor Khan (the self proclaimed queen of bollywood) gets to eat like a bakasur. Probably she has had more food in this film than her entire life. Has Asian Paints started a new business of cosmetic products, if so they have experimented those on her face. The other cast n crew’s performance goes unnoticed cos of the poor plot. Music and cinematography is forgettable. The dialog of the audience after watching Singham Returns would be “Aata majhi satakli” means “My mind is f***ed”. Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn aur Reliance pictures ki Jai Ho. Another film to 100 crore+ club. Thats the motive of most of the film makers in Bollywood right....F**k the story lets make 100+crores thats it. RIP Singham....please don’t return. My Rating : “Aata Maajhi Satakli”.
