NCSS partnered with the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and SIM University (UniSIM) to offer a place-and-train Professional Conversion Programme for Social Workers (PCPSW) to support mid-career individuals to acquire relevant knowledge and skills required to qualify as social workers. Two PCPSW Career Previews were organised on 18 and 25 January 2014 at the Training Hub within the Social Service Institute. SPD’s Community & Social Service Department had a booth at the event to provide more information and programme details to interested and potential social workers converts.
