*** NEW REQUIREMENT *** BUSINESS ANALYST FOR SUPPLY CHAIN METRICS AND ANALYTICS REQUIREMENT #13-00732 RECRUITER: BRIDGET BURNS JOB LOCATION: NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ AUGUST 12, 2013 Project Description: Business analyst working for Global Supply Chain Metrics and Analytics organization related to centrally held and maintained supply chain metrics. Responsible for development of ad-hoc reports, enhancements to and on-going support of existing metrics: • Work with existing reports and/or develop new reports using analytical tools (Spotfire) • Enhance and streamline analytical efforts to improve quality and speed of operational and ad hoc metrics analytics • Ad-hoc data collection for product traceability, including creating, analyzing, summarizing, and documenting processes • Executing weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational metrics • Tracking and monitoring supply chain scorecards • Using analytics and business judgment to answer key business questions • Work closely with analytics team, IT, and business organizations Required Skills: • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to manipulate large datasets to identify root cause and articulate findings • Expert in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with strong presentation skills • Good understanding of supply chain business processes • Expert in ERP SAP System • Strong knowledge of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) • Knowledge of Spotfire a plus (or willing to learn) • Must work as team player with ability to work under pressure for urgent requests • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • BA in business or information technology field required • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain or related field This 6+ month position starts ASAP.
