Need some help and suggestions. Can anyone recommend a grief counselor, or therapy situation in N.E. Philly? Had a nice long chat with my neighbor earlier. He lost his wife of 31 years about two months ago. They have 3 grown children, 3 grandchildren and other family nearby, but he needs to have someone else to talk with, to help him get through this, who isn’t directly involved or who has problems with some of his other issues. He’s a good man, with some bad habits. He doesn’t have a family doctor. I’m not sure if he has a strong contact with the local parish priests. I do know that I don’t have the expertise in this area, but I can be a friend and try to help.
