***News Release*** Last night, the UPD patrol division conducted a prostitution investigation using an undercover officer, posing as a john. . The goal of the investigation is to aggressively target those that engage in prostitution relate crimes. As a result the following were arrested: Arrested: Lisa Martin (47) Thorn St Utica (white striped shirt) Charge: Loitering for purpose of Prostitution- misdemeanor Arrested: Yolanda Velardi (49) Champlin Ave (white sweater) Charges: Unlawful possession of marijuana-violation Prostitution-misdemeanor Loitering for purpose of prostitution-misdemeanor Arrested: Jenifer Baylitz (36) Cottage Pl Utica (whites sweater-pink tank top) Charges: Prostitution- misdemeanor Loitering for purpose of prostitution-misdemeanor Arrested: Monica Hill (40) Elizabeth St Utica (pink tank top) Charges: Prostitution- misdemeanor Loitering for purpose of prostitution-misdemeanor Arrested: Gesika Koster (19) Jason St Utica (multi-colored top) Charge: Loitering for the purpose of prostitution-misdemeanor Arrested: Cherrin Roberts (37) Mary St Utica (tan sweater) Charges: Prostitution- misdemeanor Loitering for purpose of prostitution-misdemeanor **Please note*** All charges in this post are allegations, and arrestees are innocent until proven guilty.***
